  Every year, we celebrate Teacher’s day to honor the people who help shape our future, our teachers. The 2025 theme, “My Teacher, My Hero,” perfectly shows how teachers play an important role in our lives. They may not wear capes or have superpowers like the heroes we see in movies, but they have something more powerful, a heart that cares, a mind that inspires, and hands that guide us to become the best versions of ourselves. As a student, I truly believe that teachers are real heroes because they dedicate their lives to helping students learn a lot. Teachers are more than just people who teach lessons from books. They are mentors who guide us, comfort us, and help us become strong and confident. Every day, they spend hours preparing lessons, checking papers, and finding new ways to make learning easier for us.  The 2025 National Science Month theme speaks to me in a very personal way. It makes me think about how life is full of doubt, and yet it is through curiosity and exploration that people discover answers. Science is not just about high-tech laboratories or inventions we see on the news, it is also about the little things finding ways to make our daily lives easier, keeping our communities safe, and solving problems that sometimes feel impossible. This celebration reminds us that what is not discovered should not frighten us, but inspire us to keep asking questions. Science and society are always connected. The things we enjoy today like faster ways to talk to each other, new medicines, or clean sources of energy show how science is always trying to answer what people need. On the other hand, the problems we face, like climate change, natural disasters, and health issues, are the very things that push science to keep searching for answers.  Climate Change and Resiliency of Filipinos Climate change feels very real in the Philippines. We see it in the sudden heavy rains that turn streets into rivers, in the stronger typhoons that leave whole communities struggling, and even in the slow but steady rise of heat that makes daily life harder. Some changes hit us in an instant like flash floods or storms while others creep in over time, like the loss of land and or the rising sea swallowing parts of our shores. The causes are a mix of global and local problems. Around the world, industries keep releasing greenhouse gases, warming the planet faster. Here at home, we add to it through deforestation, plastic pollution, and practices that harm the environment. Sadly, it’s often the poor farmers, fisherman, and families living in danger zones who suffer the most. What I really admire, though, is how Filipinos remain strong no matter what.     This year’s intramurals was honestly one of the most unforgettable moments of my high school life. It was tiring, exciting, and emotional  all at once. I didn’t just join the event, I gave my whole self to it. I performed as the vocalist of The Aces Band, played as a football player, and still made time to serve as a medic all while being the President of the Red Cross Youth Council. When our band finally got called to perform, I was shaking. I could feel the pressure, especially with so many people watching  classmates, teachers, friends, even people I didn’t know. But once I started singing, everything changed. The nerves turned into excitement. I saw people smiling, singing along, cheering  and that gave me so much confidence. It felt amazing to be up there, doing what I love, with people I trust and care about. That performance will always be a special memory for me.But right after the stage, I had to switch to game mode. Our community joined forces in a clean-up drive to promote a healthier and greener environment. Everyone, young and old, helped out in picking up trash—it was a simple act that made our community shine brighter. The clean-up drive reminded us that throwing garbage properly is not just a rule, but a way of showing love for our home. With every piece of trash collected, we felt that we were giving back to nature and making our surroundings more livable. Beyond cleaning, the drive brought smiles, teamwork, and the spirit of bayanihan alive in our community.

My ICT Reflection This school year, I learned a lot in our ICT class is not just about computers, but also about patience, teamwork, and trying my best. From learning about how the internet started, to helping with Nutrition Month, and even making my own blog, it was a fun and sometimes challenging experience. One topic I really found interesting was the history of the internet. Before, I thought the internet had just always been there. But I learned it actually started way back in the late 1960s with something called ARPANET, which was used by researchers to share information. Then in the 1980s, email and domain names were added, making it easier to talk online. In the 1990s, Tim Berners-Lee created the World Wide Web, which made websites and browsers possible. Since you started leading the country, I’ve seen how hard you’ve been working to help us move forward. The programs to rebuild the economy, improve our roads and bridges, and support farmers and workers have really given many of us hope for a brighter future. I appreciate the calm and steady way you’ve handled things, especially with everything the country has been through recently. The projects like Build Better More are really making a difference by doing activities and projects like better roads, better services, and better opportunities for people everywhere. I know there are still worries out there, especially about being open and honest about our past.
