Chasing My Dreams

When I think about my dreams and my future, I realize that my goals are not only about achieving success for myself but also about helping other people. I have always believed that life becomes more meaningful when we use our abilities to serve others. Because of this, one of my dreams is to become a volunteer in different humanitarian organizations. Being able to help people during emergencies, disasters, or difficult situations is something that truly inspires me. I want to be someone who can bring hope, comfort, and assistance to those who need it the most.

My involvement in service activities and humanitarian efforts has helped me understand the importance of compassion and volunteerism. It made me realize that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life. Through volunteering, I hope to meet people from different communities, learn from their experiences, and become more aware of the realities that many people face every day. I want to grow not only as a person but also as someone who genuinely cares about the well-being of others.

Another dream that I hold very close to my heart is becoming a neurosurgeon. This dream was inspired by my lola who had brain cancer. Seeing her go through such a difficult experience was heartbreaking for our family. During that time, I realized how important doctors are, especially those who specialize in treating complex conditions like diseases of the brain. It made me curious about how the brain works and how doctors can perform surgeries that help save lives.

Even though becoming a neurosurgeon is not easy and requires many years of hard work, dedication, and studying, I am willing to face those challenges. I know that the journey will not always be simple, but remembering my reason keeps me motivated. I want to become a doctor who not only treats patients but also understands their struggles and gives them hope during their hardest moments.

Thinking about my dreams also reminds me that the future is something we slowly build through our choices, actions, and determination. Every step I take in my studies and in serving others brings me closer to the person I want to become. My dream is not only to succeed in my career but also to honor the memory of my lola by dedicating my life to helping people who are experiencing illnesses similar to what she went through.
